Zuilen Environmental Organizations opposing the renovation plans of the Lage Weide industrial center, They wanted the municipality to respond to the wishes of the people.

While it is planned to modernize some workplaces in the region, They requested the Municipality to take precautions against dirty air and dirty odors.. Zuilen semtinde sürekli pis kokular yayan fabrikalara yaptırım uygulanmasını isteyen çevre örgütü, Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal kenarında bulunan işyerlerini daha sık kontrol edip kokuya karşı önlem almalarını önerdiler. Lage Weide’de gerçekleştirilecek planların ilk aşaması tamamlandı ve çevre örgütü bu planlara karşı temyiz mahkemesine başvuracaklarını açıkladılar.
